Hope this letter finds you in great health and prosperity. Firstly let me introduce myself, my name is Kuntal Baveja and I have recently joined as the new Country Head for Sandoz Philippines.

I have been working with Novartis and Sandoz since 2006 in leadership positions across the branded pharmaceuticals, vaccines and generics divisions. I have been very fortunate to live and learn about various healthcare markets in Americas, Europe and Asia.

Understanding the diverse needs of developed markets such as US and Germany to developing markets like Bangladesh, which was my previous assignment, I have now relocated to Manila with my family and look forward to experiencing the amazing country and people.

Recently, Sandoz has launched in the Philippines the generic of valsartan (Diovan®/Co-Diovan®) and latanoprost, with the aim of strengthening our Cardiovascular and Ophthalmology portfolios.
